All points are good ones, it just depends on what suits you and your wifes need/wants more. Best way to describe the drivetrain issues is that they normally occur from the center out...clutch, tranny gears, diffs, then half shafts. But, if all you want is 12's eventually you shouldn't need to worry about more then the clutch and maybe the gearset (for reliabilitys sake.)
