there were other off brand rails but they all mounted in different spots then the powers railz and to me the b2 rails looked like they would hit my legs. and they didn't look as nice as the powers. the R&G aero sliders for my bike are the best looking sliders i could find, and for protection i think they mount in the best spot on the bike. which happens to be where the radiator overflow is. but they give you a new over flow with a hole in so you can mount a slider though it.
