I know the upholstery game pretty well, considering, and for $100/seat - you're lucky to get them removed from the car and pay for the materials to reupholster them. Maybe in some shitty cloth that will wear out in about 12-16 months in the FL sun/heat. High end vinyl (leatherette's) or leather is going to run you some coin.
I've got a guy in Brooksville, but it's gonna be around $500-750 depending on what you want done & how fast.
There comes a point when getting what you pay for becomes paying too much and getting ripped off. If I was having custom work done then sure $600 - $700 for 2 bucket seats sounds fair. But I'm not. I'm having to stock seats recovered to look new again. I can buy like new seats for $200,.. no way I will ever pay $500 - 750 for a 3 hour job. My guy in Md charges me $100 a seat and will do them in any material he has in the shop. And he does show quality work. He done several cars for me.
These are for my 65 Fury. I had the front and rear seats plus the door panels done for $350. Not leather,.. but very close to the factory material and came out really good.
They dont have to pull any seats out of my car. The car is getting painted right now and I have the interior here at the house. I just want them recovered and I think $150 a seat is a fair price to pay. I'll buy new seats before I pay $600 to have these recovered.
