Its not just whether the cost of the parts and machine work add up to $7k, its whether you can find someone willing to take the risk that all of those parts were machined and assembled correctly. Plus, they will have to tear down the motor to verify it doesn't have stock internals (or worse, no pistons or rods at all).
It would sorta defeat the purpose of this bad motherfucker being built and assembled by the best of the best 'round these parts if they went in tearing it apart in their backyards.
Thats the one thing I'm not concerned about - I have godd feedback on the corral. They could drop the pan and peer into the motor if they really wanted to, but my word is good over there still.
