If not, that's the most likely situation of why your pal was pulled over. Cops do not give a shit, or have the time to chase everyones cars, especially Hondas. Trust me, I know. They contacted me when they found the shell, and verbally said to me "we do not have time to build cases on stolen cars unless valid fingerprints can be easily identified to another person with prior convictions, then we can pursue an investigation." When your cars covered in WD40 and oil (which seems to be the common procedure) there is no further investigation.
