just a quick story to show cops are trying to stop stolen cars
just about 30 mins ago or so my boy was pulled over. he was in a truck which was towing his project (eh hatch shell) to my house. before he got onto the main streets he was pulled over by a cruiser. moments later a couple more came. they ran the vins all was good and they let him go.
so even tho we all like to think they dont care i guess some of them actually do

 

They did what they should do...
An out of place situation attracted them, they checked it out....nothing was wrong.....they turned him loose.........which is what they should have done.-Bob

If he had started lipping off, said something about the cop's mother or took off running, the story might have had a different ending...

 

oh for sure. i was actually pleased to hear that he got pulled over. restores some faith in the good ol' law enforcement

I got pulled over in tampa and they did that to me after I was speeding and just let me go.

 

I got pulled over riding in my roommates car moments after leaving the house..apparently the cops got a tip about a house on the street and they thought we came from there...waited till we rounded the corner out of sight of the house and pulled us over. I was quite pleased they were doing something worthwhile...however I really wondered why two of them approached the car, hands on guns from either side. lol

 

I got pulled over a few nights ago for speeding a lil. And right away the cop checked my vin without giving me a chance to explain that I swaped the dash so the vin was inaccurate. After I was in handcuffs 1 cop gave me the chance to explain that my real vin was in my glovebox. After checking it and all numbers matching i was released but after 3 HOURS of bs and the pigs staring down my e-bay! And asking why such a pretty girl is in such a loud car which I HATE when ppl asume that since im a female i cant be into imports... I was sooo pissed not only was it late but i had to work in the morning. I didnt even get an apology and I still got a speeding ticket. I think the pigs are taking it to the extreme! And they never EVEN found my stolen ek COPS SUCK BIG HAIRY BALLS!

damn cops thats fucked up, they shouldve at least apologized

Really has nothing to do with them suspecting the car was stolen. If you were towing the car, did the car have a proper tag matching the vehicle? If not, that's the most likely situation of why your pal was pulled over. Cops do not give a shit, or have the time to chase everyones cars, especially Hondas. Trust me, I know. Had one stolen from me with more money in the engine than you could purchase a new luxury car for. They contacted me when they found the shell, and verbally said to me "we do not have time to build cases on stolen cars unless valid fingerprints can be easily identified to another person with prior convictions, then we can pursue an investigation." When your cars covered in WD40 and oil (which seems to be the common procedure) there is no further investigation.
