Prbably because one of the organizer's Pomeranian got ate by a Pit cause the little yappin bastard was being a nusience. AKC doesnt cover all breeds....not a very good organization for a dog owner to trust anyway, many have taken thier breeds elsewhere. I personally wouldnt trust the accuaracy of papers on a bloodline that uses that organization
