I'ma throw up the on 2.48 deaths a year. Big time.

Googled pit bull death for the last month, not even year. Here are the distinct seperate deaths so far:

Christine Staab (""The dogs were very sweet. They never had a problem with them.")

Anastasia Bingham

So you got 2 already this year.

2009:

Michigan Boy

California Boy

Carter Delaney

Justin Clinton

Which is 4 before I got lazy and gave up searching.

"Over the 37-year period from 1965-2001, pit bulls have been blamed
for an average of 2.48 human fatalities per year."
Is what I'm finding that number quoted from, do you have a source on that? I'm sure back in 1973 nation-wide statistics for pit-bull attacks were really accurate and comprehensive (I'm doing the 'dismissive wank motion with my hand right now).

I'm working with a 3:1 nice pit to attacking pit ration personally. The one bad doggy dragged 3 chained up cinder blocks behind it on a chain 100' or so in a rental garage unit place before it's owner caught up to it chopping and salavating right at my door.

But he was arrested later for stealing cars......
