First, check the CEL and tell us what it is.
Second, check the timing over again and make sure it is CORRECT
Third, when putting those seals in the spark plug holes and the rest of the valve cover...make certain the surface is very very clean. I even go as far as using denatured alcohol to clean all surfaces. Torque the valve cover nuts down correctly.
Hmm. I am unable to do any of the following right now, because I don't have any tools anymore. I just recently moved out and my Dad was the one doing all the work on my cars in the past. several Hondas and this is the first one with these types of problems.
I'm trying to come up with a solution, but I think taking it to someone is my best option.
