the cj's had 2.19 1.71, huge ports
72 pi's had the same size valves/ports with bigger chambers
68-70 d0ve had 2.08 1.65 smaller ports but still "big"
d1's and up had the same size valves but bigger chambers
stay away from the reg 72 heads
you can port any of the stock iron heads to flow decent numbers
you could always get a set of the new boss 9' kaase heads and make stupid power.
IIRC up til 73 they all had screw in studs, after that they went to the bolt down rockers
