This is most people think and it doesnt work that way. First off FL doesnt recognize bounty hunters. There is no licensed bounty hunters in FL. LE cant forcefully enter a house without a warrant. MOST street officers and on occasion warrant detectives love to go out with us. Cuts through a lot of red tape of getting a warrant to enter....I dont need one. We make entry and they come in behind me

When is the last time you heard of a bondsmen being shot in FL? Pick ups are done nightly. I use the same element of surprise (people do sleep).....people with warrants open the door to the average joe before a uniformed officer. I'm not saying every door I go to gets get kicked in actually its very few, but not gonna walk away and not get the person I went there for if they are there and refuse to open it bcause the think they dont have to.
