The V8's can and do make more HP when the same principles are applied. There really is no substitution for cubic inches when it comes to drag racing. You can throw all the boost you want at a little motor,.. and the larger engine with less boost will go faster. Hell even with no boost.
I can agree with that but sometimes that doesn't happen. Did you see the results at Hod Rod Drag Week 2009?
