Their hands have been on plenty of Subarus in Orlando. I actually know the owner of their "shop" '07 STi. That car has had a built motor for something like 40K miles now and should be around 500whp on race gas (though its almost always on 93).

But if you are going to assemble the block yourself, there's no point in going to most of the shops in this thread as they outsource the machine work and just do assembly in house. I would ask some of the notable engine builders on NASIOC where they get their machine work done and just send the block there. It doesn't NEED to be local if they're just re-honing for some .5mm oversize pistons.
