Even on a 69-70 block?
The C9OE block I have here has twice the thickness and webbing of the later 80's blocks. I dont think I will be able to go less then .030 - .040 on this block. I'll know more when I finally get it to the machine shop. I am still researching on a good reputable machine shop to take it to. Waiting until I have the rotating assembly as well. I want them to balance out the whole thing after they machine the block and I've heard some bad stories about certain local shops.
