I wonder if the stock SRT4 turbo will fit. That will boost up to 15PSI stock and with a stage 1 kit I think they get them up to 17PSI and stage 2 like 20PSI. Obviously your not getting a bigger turbo with the different stages I think just new BOV and stuff. I figure find a turbo of a car thats turbo from the factory and try and use that, it should be much cheaper.
stock turbos are small and dinky IMO! And you compared a D16 to a B18....BIGGG difference my friend. A D16 is a single cam while the B18 is a dual cam. No comparison IMO. I dont know too much about boost so ill shut up now!
