^^^^ you're crazy theirs no journal type bearings in a tranny and a lot of parts come in contact with eachother. i.e secltor hub-syncro-gear, gear to gear. all the bearings are either roller bearings or sealed cartridge bearings
Ya im crazy, a needle bearing is nothing like a journal bearing I dont know where you got that from, cause i distincly typed "
needle bearing". Do you know how fast parts inside a transmission move? Do you realy think that if 2 gears touch eachother at those speeds that they will not create any friction or heat? They ride on a thin film of transmission fluid, not eachother. Have you ever rebuilt a transmission? Im hoping not.
