I'm not sure what "clod air" is. J/K No, I'm not refering to cold air. I'm refering to port matching the intake to the head to increase flow and smooth out the flow for better flow. I'm also talking about your basic induction. i.e carb or if injected, the MAF, etc.

I have also heard that the Ranger cams are a bit bigger, but I would still buy a custom one from a reputable cam mfg instead. This way, you can tell them your exact set up and what you want it to do. They can help you to get the perfect cam to maximize what you want to do. Kinda expensive, but REALLY worth it.

Did you have the head machined for larger valves also?
