honestly IMo from what I have heard from you, I would do the following. Keep your vert the way it is...it looks really clean...pick up another roller or 4 banger..this way you can concentrate on parts for the conversion car...they can be had really cheap...I've picked up rollers for as little as 50.00 with titles... Start hording parts...trade sell...do odd jobs...beg...what ever it takes to get the V8 parts you need for the swap. Take your time...it takes guys years to put cars together. Parts are fairly cheap and they are plentiful. Build a V8 car on your budget...go to the junkyard....beg for parts here on TR. Hustle is how your going to get what you need...work with some guys here on their cars for trade in parts...help yank some motors or help do some work with them...many have parts and rollers layinig around....give it a shot!! I know Raymond will trade parts for sexual favors...I'm sure he likes young boys. Offer to work his junkyard part time in trade for parts...He may need help..

PS..I'm ALWAYS kidding about raymond...He is my Favorite Cracker.

I would also look to see if there are some guys here selling a roller cheap...ask if you can pay it off...alot of guys have done it here...keep your eyes open...I will do the same for you...promise...only because you have hung in here for so long. I would hope some other guys would do the same.

Do you have a place to keep the car while you collect parts??? This is key!! Use it as a shed or storage for the parts you collect. PM me your phone number.

^ sure i'll work for parts. im sure my father would let me keep a shell at his place but thats all the way in hudson off of county line rd. and im in apollo. but yeah and the only job i have right now is working at howl-o-scream and it only thursday,friday, and saturday untill nov. 1st. . . so yeah i'll work for cash as well. so i guess i'll take a wack at it.

were you trying to prove somone wrong ..
The falken car is a supercharged V8 and the drift patrol is also a V8 car not to mention thoose care are bolth most likely worth upwards of 50k. Not a pieced togather 4 banger frakenstein build.

Your trying to build a mock SVO .... if they were THAT good why did they do away with them. Oh and btw instead of going thru all this BS with your motor why didnt you just go to a junk yard nad yank a turbo 4 banger out of a T bird with everything you need on it????

IMHO if your gonna drift go with a carbed v8 swap. U can buy a running 302 from a junk yard or the for sale section change the cam , add headers and change the gears in your car for less then your gonna spend just getting your turbo set up and computer. Heck for 1500 bucks if u buy a rat u can get a v8 lx hatch and not have a vert anymore too lol

^ i know the motors are diffrent. the guy just said that noone drifts them. so i put the links to show other wise. now that drift patrol guy, the most expensive thing he has on that car is a pro charger, eveything else was all peiced together for the most part.

I highly doubt that but OK ill give ya a procharger , plus injectors , blow thru mass air ( they are different) bigger throttle body , bigger fuel pump , tune in the computer .. so what . like $7,000 in the bolt on shit? not counting the heads , exhaust , trans , suspension , the multiple sets of tires per event , the new C clip eliminator axles , different gear , differnet carrier??? so another what 5-8 K EASILY ??
