Could also be something stupid like the brake dust shield is bent and touching the rotor, sounds like a wheel bearing though. Jack the front of the car up and grab the tire at the top and bottom and check for play. Grab the wheel by the sides and check for play:
If there is side to side play and no top and bottom play you have worn ball joints or steering rack inner joints.
If there is top and bottom play you have a bad wheel bearing.
A bad wheel bearing will also have side to side play but bad ball joints will not cause top and bottom play.This is typical for all front ends not just Honda's.
i checked the brake dust shield and that seemed ok. ill try to wiggle to wheel around and see what that does
