KA24E's .. esp Hardbody ones are extremely weak and failure prone.. Nissan even released a TSB and upgraded headbolts after tons of KA24E's in trucks and 240's started letting headgaskets loose.

It is not a question weather it will pop or not, it is a question of how soon.

Best thing to do is to buy a DE motor and have a reliable 225-250rwhp with a manual.

I knew the blocks were made in mexico, Didnt know they were any diffrent or weaker.

I thought the only diffrence between DE`s and E`s were dual cam and single cam ? Can you fill me in on some diffrences.

As for the tranny i Know its a go boom... Anyone know what auto it is ?

What Manual Tranny would i use with a DE swap ?
What would i need with a DE swap?
And what should i expect to pay for a DE?
