Hopefully you aren't building cars for anybody!! Poor forum advice if he wants it done right. If you really want it done correctly, take it to a fab. shop and have them fill it and then resurface it correctly. Head must come off though. If you don't give a shit and its a beater, JB as last resort.
what do you think about that other aluminium welding stuff? would that be okay or do i really need to get work done.
