well usually when the bearings go you have to buy a whole new rear end cause it tears up the housing...
there are "saver" bearing available as well. they don't sit on the worn part of the case and acts as a seal as well. i have one installed in my car's rear end. they cost around $40 or $50 but its a lot cheaper then replacing the whole thing.
