Yep. Straight out of your ass. Even though this is hardly representative, the highest KA is in the 700's, where the highest SR is at 998whp.

Both stock engines have similarly sucky cast pistons. The SR has stronger / more reliable rods by a long shot. I don't think people are breaking cranks, but the SR has a fully counterweighted crank, versus the KA's 4 weight crank. The KA has a much simpler head design that is basically indestructible, versus the failure prone SR rocker arm head. The KA head also flows very well stock, but the same can be said for the SR as well. KA cams are limited by the clearance in the head, so they can't get too crazy like SR cams. No one makes a production intake manifold for the KA. The aftermarket for SR's is enormous, but spare KA's are relatively cheap. So many companies stock the JDM-only OEM Nissan parts now-a-days that it isn't even an argument anymore.

These days, any piece of crap engine from a daewoo can be built to make 400+ whp, which I'm sure is more than you'll make if you're having this debate. So given that, just flip a coin and post up when you finish your build!

By the way, I reserve the right to close this thread at any time due to the standing Nissan Tech Forums rule as per below:
