Default oil filters

I have always used OEM filters since I have had the car, any better suggestions for MKIV?

ive always heard that the oem filter is best for a vw. thats what i use. but if you want a diff brand, mobile 1 filters are better than k&n's and are about $2-3 cheaper.

your not gonna throw a code from an oil filter, enless it explodes taking out half your engine cause it was actually a bomb....honestly, i dont really think it matters to much....as long as u dont get it at the dollor general i think your straight!!
