no seriously we've seen it happen...my buddies dad does oil changes on vw's constantly daily and for some reason the cheap wal mart brand filters through codes, takes it off and runs a mahn or vw filter and it's good!

 

ha, thats funny...wal-mart brand makes since anyways, cause everyone that shops there is obsest with nascar, so those cheap nascar oil filters dont work on euro cars....lol...

 

I use NAPA Gold line filters in my TT and have never had a prob
