And OP your motor is ticking? Is it timing chain slap or maybe a guide broken making it tick? Or is it knocking?

 

i took the top guide off yesterday, still its like a light tick/knock sound. cant quite make it out. I dont think its a knock, not loud enought, i put a heavy oil in it to try and slow down my oil leak make the weight was too much for valves.

 

Alot of KA's do that, even after you take off that very top guide it'll still have that little tick. I drove around like that for about a year. It's probably one of the lower guides or tensioners.

 

It also idles weird almost like theres a misfire. I dont think injector is stuck open, i know 3rd cylinder injector needs seals needs replaced. already bought them but now this problem. I dont even wanna drive it. i got it to dd till i had enough money for rb or sr swap no i gotta waste money in another damn ka

 

Huh, thats funny b/c I had a KA that did that, idled ok and then misfired occasionally and then eventually it began to knock.
Not saying thats the case with yours.

G/L finding a good cheap KA, I know i'm always on the lookout for them...I think everyone is,lol.

 

Well as far as the block head and internals , there isnt any problems. It was in an accident. I pulled the motor and it has been collecting dust in my driveway since. I just need to get that paper weight out the drive way. I had just swapped it into the car 4 months prior to the accident
