I say you should try to start it. Give it a lookover and see what you can see/hear when trying.
The most important thing that is often overlooked when buying/selling used...is that no matter how well one can repair the damage, labor is labor; I may not pay myself cash, but my time and effort are still spent. I may be able to scoop a KA for $300, yes. Installing the set is what makes it something else.
Along with the degree of body work, a $1,000 price tag might be stretching it.
Consider this, and keep me posted. I pm'ed my number, so get back to me when you can. I am pretty interested.

 

If you wanna make some fast money off of it, I'll take the whole interior. Carpet, rear seats, rear panels, everything. Only thing I dont need is the center console, dash, and front seats. Let me know, you can take that off of the $1000 you're looking to get for it and have money now lol
