I have a 1992 240sx hatch shell. Its really clean. Interior is in great shape for an 18 year old car. No cracks on the dash.
Its a dual cam base model. Its the lightest model available, with roll up windows, manual locks and no sunroof, also has the mud flaps..Last owner told me the A/C works great.
Bought the car off a guy that was only really interested in sound systems, not a young kid that wanted to drift it all day. Not sure whats up with the engine. I know he had put a few hundred into the car, tune up, tires, brake cylinder,(All done from 11/2009-3/2010) and not long after it went down. So I bought it off him for another project but now with my 3 month old daughter we want to expand our home. So the first thing that needs to go is the new project car.

A few Cons
-Engine does not run. (Don't know what it is, haven't had time to touch the car since I bought it.)
-Needs Paint
-The rear hatch has a little rust hole in it
-Driver side rear panel has a big ding in it.
-No radio

1k is alittle pricey for a shell

 

Most shells you see have been parted out. Missing the motor, seats, bumpers, etc. This is a car that ran great and just stopped running at the beginning of this year. The interior is in great shape compared to most of them you see out there.
The right person can probably get this car running for about $200-300.

 

you say it isn't running, what is it doing? fuel delivery problem? electrical problem?

 

Not really sure, Really just towed it home and let it sit so far. I might have my boy check it out soon. Right now its just hard finding the time to work on the car.

 

Running or not this is a good deal. EVEN if the motor is trashed you can get a running KA for like $300 and have a decently clean hatch for like $1300
