I found 4 gauge speaker cable from an audio shop (this is the same size as the factory battery cable if I'm not mistaken). It's very high quality. 0 gauge is just too expensive and 2 gauge is very hard to find. I got 30 feet of 4 gauge for just under $30. I've done some research and a lot of guys run 4 gauge with no issues. I have no extra electronics at all, just stock accessories and that's it, so it should be fine. Going to get the fuse shortly, and start the relocation.

That's not too bad. I'm pretty sure 4 gauge will work since the car only sees the highest amperage at startup. I'm wondering if anyone else has used 4 gauge audio cable for battery relocation. There seems to be a lot of guys running it with no issues at all; however, everyone on the forums states it's too small. I understand that the car is going to pull a bit more amps due to resistance from the length of the wire, but is 2 or 0 gauge really necessary?
