i have a 1991 s13,its an auto and the tranny is bad and wont get out of first? anyone run into this befor? dont mind geting a new tranny,anyone have a new one laying around? and also any nissan mechanics got a few minuts to talk on aim or somthing?

 

ill tell you, its not worth your time or the mechanics time to put in a new auto tranny.

 

then what? just have it without a tranny? the trannys bad its what you do they go you put a new one in you should know this you own a shop

 

do a 5 speed conversion

its going to run you about the same

do some research

i have a clutch pedal and master and line for sale
find a tranny

my friend just put an auto into an auto s14 and he wanted to kill himself

and then our shop vouched to never fuck with auto trannies again

so that should be enough convincing.

putting in 5sp = drillin 3 holes. wow thats hard.

if it isn't shifting, it might be your TCM. I had the same issue. hit me up with a pm. and if it is your tranny, then i still have an auto you can have it if you come get it.
just swaping the tranny isn't that hard.
if you've got the cash for the parts, then the 5spd swap would be better in the long run.

VERY simple,i just talked to countless shops and almost every one of them told me a 5 speed swap never works out in the long run (with problems ect ect)and it is so easy to replace the tranny and also a bit cheaper then rebuilding it ( ka tranny parts are really expensive) and also talk to a few people with a tranny swap and everyone told me if i want a stick buy a manaul car if i want an auto buy a auto car,so im conviced to keep it auto as much as i want it 5speed and norachelhere i sent you a pm looking very foward to your reply .
