ok so you need to rebuild the internals.. so about a 1200 invested maybe even less and you will have such a beast. i mean a T04 with a FMIC?? Cmon now, i just dont have the 1200 to invest!!

 

Ok, so my friend decided he wanted to check out what was wrong with my car today. We turn it on and pop the hood. The squeaking sound is what we are looking for. I also told him about the car Idleing a little above 1. As im listening to the sounds and trying to figure out where it is coming from, i notice the sound is coming from none other than my T04 Turbo. Lovely eh?

So Here is the UPDATE: my internals are still in working condition n stuff; my bearings in the turbo - Gone. So the Car stands at 5200obo.

It needs a new turbo or the turbo itself rebuilt. i will try and find another Turbo for it (T3/T4 or T04) and if so ill put price to 5500obo.

With all the turbos for sale on TampaRacing, im sure some of you Techies have an extra Turbo laying around and maybe you want a new project car

do a compression check and leak down on the car you wil get better answers

 

i found out why it smokes at high RPMs. the oil return line has a HUGE hole in it. its from the header touching it. so yea new oil return line needed aswell.

Ok; Update:

Rims and Sound system has been taken out. Original Wheels on. Pistons are shot i believe. Needs new oil return line and turbo needs to be rebuilt.

So im looking for a trade. anything that runs good. LMK

 

You will probably get more money parting your car out than you would waiting around to sell a car with shot pistons....good luck

 

My advice is part the car out man. There is just too much wrong with your car for someone to want it for the price you are looking to get for it. Part all the body parts, rims, system, head, interior, etc and you should be at around $3000 give or take. Just making a suggestion.
