do some reserch on the diffrent models of FCs that are out there..
If you are looking for a n/a model (non turbo)

I would look into the S4 86-88 GXL,
Heres why,and I like them cause of this..
They have power windows.. im lazy to slide over to roll down windows..
They all came with LSD..

Its the SAME n/a 13b that came in all the S4,dont let no one bullshit you on diffrent models being better..
Heres the models to look for..
SE
SPORT
GXL
GTU

then
Turbo II
10th Anniversarry Turbo II

I really doubt you will find one for $1500. but its possible, and dont waste you rmoney on a SE model

There is a place in tampa called Maztech. I forgot there location, and #. Some1 on this forum has to know though. See if he has any for sale . Ask some1 for his # that is on this mazda forum or go to Free-4-all and ask that question. Some1 has to know the number. He works on RX-7's all the time. I bet he has some for sale. I know where to get one but its without a motor and its an Automatic. I think its the SE model or GXL.

If you want to make it fast in the near future make sure to get a turbo model. I picked mine up for $1300 and needed a water pump and radiator. Ran/runs perfect. Just look on www.rx7club.com and www.teamfc3s.org and wait for a while. Only thing you will beat NA is the average ricer in civics possibly.

thats stock though. you can make them faster by upgrading. the turbo only adds like 40hp to it.

What are you talking about, the turbo only adds 40 hp?Do you mean from the n/a stock to the turbo stock?

If you start out with a turbo 7,you power is endless... just depends on how deep your pockets are.. starting off with a 6 port and tring to get power.. is just beating a dead horse.. You wont get anything to brag about.

Ok buddy. You can do everything possible to an NA and still be slower than a TII. Then with a TII just add an exhaust, fcd and intake and gain only another 40+hp

Trust me, I started with an NA and realized pretty quickly its not the way to go for speed.
