Its the market! I know someone who just bought a clean F-body with about 10k in mods for less then the market valve for a stock one.

His numbers should be way lower since all he cares about is Trade-in and Retail prices. Retail that car will go for 9k all day long, and Trade-in is 3900-4900$

Honestly OP that car should be selling for 5500-6500$...

paid 5800 for my 2001 Z28 with All options and 89k, a few months back from a dealer, thought it was a little high at that. These cars are considered the best buy for the money in Performance cars. mainly because the LS1, trans, harness and body panels are worth parting it. Which is what alot of people do. Look on the bright side, at least you dont own a LT1, those things are going for 2500-3500 all day. I saw a 2002 SS for sale in Georgia with a Bad Motor for 1500, Mainly because the LS1 is kinda expensive to build and the motor is 90% of the value.

This is the truth. I listed my wore out daily driver for $950 obo on craigslist. It sold for $800 in 8 hrs.

my truck, which is listed for $5500, has had some super low ball offers (like 2k, etc) for two weeks and it isn't going anywhere. I'll be driving it now that my dd is gone....
