updated pics.....this is with everything installed.

here is the coil packs... I made a flat bracket that I just welded to the bottom of the aluminum factory mount. Then I just bolted it to the valve cover. Hopefully it should still clear the stut tower brace.

ummm...yes, it does.

Megasquirt + MSD 6A w/ crank trigger setup.

depending what you wanted to do, you could go to coil packs or a mini-diz...i think mallory made the one that was used on the LT1 conversions a couple years back to clear the rear deck of the engine bay

ummm no.

but if you don't believe me. resarch it, post what all would be needed and how much each part costs.

and you still won't get the driveabilty of a stock gm ecm. MS won't even handle something simple as the A/C cycle iac counts. let along WG control for a turbo.

plus ms is way more $ than anyone really thinks if you don't build half the board yourself and get the one without the good shit.

big stuff 3 is a better deal at $3k plus. buut even what I've seen of that, its meant for racing, not everyday driving.

i dunno what prices are like now, but it was 800-1000 bucks for MS said and done when i was lookin at it a few years ago.

but as far as what he asked, its open source, it has datalogging, and itll support a 3bar map sensor. the trigger and spark distribution can be left to whatever you prefer...the NS coil pack setup is plenty fine. its what i ran on my 93

i should have about half that in my setup, with the driveability of stock. This is merely a test of theory for a boosted application. I hope it will work and surpass all my expectations. If not, Im pushing the car outside and setting it ablaze.
