About 12:00 a.m. I got a knock on the door from the local Police department. I go outside to find my car completely turned sideways in my driveway. So asshole blew through the stop sign in front of my house and was trying to turn down my street and nailed my car. Unfortunately for me, the driver took off and has not yet been found. Anyone that has any information that leads to the arrest of this asshole will receive a reward. My car is totaled. The whole front of the car is twisted towards the passeneger side about 1 1/2 feet. It is pretty nasty. I am sick over this, and want this person in jail and I want the money for my car. This happened at my home in Zephyrhills, FL.

On another note. Does anyone know if home owners insurance will cover this type of accident seeing that it happened in my driveway? I do not have full coverage insurance on this car. My other 2 cars that were parked in the same driveway carries full coverage. I rarely drive this car and is not my DD yet, so I didn't see a need to carry full coverage. Thanks everyone for your help. I will contact my homeowners insurance on Monday, if they do not cover the car, stay tuned for a for sale ad with some damn good parts.

That is a damn shame. Whoever did it must have fucked their car up too. If I were you I'd be driving up and down for a beat up car. People suck. Good luck, hope you get your money back.

had the same thing happen years ago they never found him.however i drove around my area and i found his ass.make a long story short there was more damage to him then my car.good thing was it was a piece of shit car i was driving while my 94 was in paint shop

They basically told me that if the person that done it, does not admit to it there is nothing that can be done. No way for them to prove it. I think it is complete bullshit. If they were to find the car, im sure they could take a sample of the paint off there carand match it to mine. The car cut across my driveway on the rim, so there is no way in hell they made it very far. I will be out looking in the morning. I went looking tonight but it is very dark around here.

 

You know whats fucked up bro, is that my wfe and I did not hear a peep. I actually woke up to the cops and my neighbor talking in my yard. Then there was a knock at the door, and my 150lb great dane cam and woke me up. His lazy ass didn't even hear it.

The worst part about this whole thing is, it was about 15' from my house, and my sons bedroom is on the corner of the house that this jackass almost clipped. The wife and I will be moving his room tomorrow, and I believe the house is going on the market. We live on a busy street, and I am sick of this kind of bullshit. Most of the cops kinda acted like they didn't give a rats ass, 1 guy was cool though and was very sorry for what happened.
