It still makes no sense to get rid of a 'perfectly running' engine to trade for an unknown engine for the sole purpose to go EFI,.. and if your going through the engine anyway,.. then why not 'go through' your engine there and discovered exactly what it is and maybe be the one who gets excited. You state in this post you have a GT,.. yet you also say you have a coupe. Soo?

I still see red flags. What your proposing just doesnt seem like something a logical person would do. If I had an engine that ran good and I wanted EFI,.. I would sell the carb,.. sell the intake,.. sell the distributor and then put the money toward the EFI parts I wanted. My 93 was EFI and over a 3 month period sold all of the EFI parts to pay for a carb conversion. I had no out of pocket money spent to pay for it. Your case will be a little different,.. used carbs dont sell very well unless you practically give them away,. same for used intake unless its a high dollar one and from pictures I see its not. If the carb is indeed a 750,.. it would be too much carb for a 302. It would have to be a vacuum secondary or severely jetted down in order to run correctly. So you may indeed have a 347. 750 would be ideal on a 347.

How ever,.. only a fool would trade a known for an unknown. I dont know you.. but unless you have more money then brains,.. something doesnt seem right.

I dont need to hear it run,.. I'm not in the market for a 302w. I just read Stephens comment and knew what he wanted to say.. so I went ahead and put it out there. I dont care who likes me and who doesnt. I speak my mind. Everyone knows where they stand with me. I dont pretend to be your friend.

Ok And this post is for someone who is in the market so why are you posting??

It doesnt matter if you like me or not. Im in Orlando your in Tampa I'll never see you. And thats fine.

And it makes more sence to just sell or trade this motor for me. If I try to sell the parts for the conversion I would sit on it for a while with the car not running for that period of time. Then have lookers that just waste time like I have had with my v8 conversion in my 99 s10 Everyone wants great parts for penny's. Its not worth my time. So a trade off for what I need Makes perfect sence too me!

So lets keep this for people in the market for a 302.
