1994 Turbo GT - Trying to sell again
Hey Cody. Yep, been out of the scene for a long time. My second son came along and it made things difficult setting enough time aside to work on it. Plus, my old job started feeling economic pains well before the rest of America. Everything together just took the wind out of my sails. You still have the Cobra? That thing should be top notch by now. Last I saw, you were close to getting a SC on it.
As far as the motor in concerned, when I pull the plugs, they are saturated with gas. The tune has always been a problem. As far as the motor in the car being good or bad, I would tell anyone buying the car to build the other motor right, and drop it in. Look again at the list of stuff you are getting with the car. The brand new tranny now sells for over $2 k from Astro Performance. I am only asking $4750 for everything. I don't feel like I am over priced by any stretch.

One other thing about the compresson test on the motor. To have a shot at the plugs on the passengere side, the turbo needs to come off. I've had the damn thing off so many times, I can't stand to do it again.
Just so everyone knows, I am not trying to hide anything about the condition of the car. If you think you might be interested, please call. Most of the time, I will talk you right out of it. It is going to take someone with a little money (at least $5K) to get this car in shape to run right. Hell, I would like to help get it running, whatever limited knowledge I can contribute. I can go over everything I think needs to happen to get the car done. It's just more than I want to do.

Hope you didnt assume I suggesting you was trying to hide anything, wasnt the case. More of.... "it has a bad head gasket". Then prospective buyer may know what to expect. Thats all. There are some nice parts on the car. Bad time to move anything right now.
I understood what you are saying. I agree, it would be easier to move if I knew exactly what it's problems were. That is part of why I am letting it go so cheap. Even if someone bought it to part out, you would make more than I am asking. I just don't want to take the time.

Of course, if no one buys it, then yes, it's over priced
