Default feeler on 68 302

I have a 68 302 complete running engine c8OE-6015a haven't checked the lifter valley for hecho in mexico. It currently has a slight rod knock and was "supposedely" rebuilt. I can verify the paint is fresh and all gaskets are new, but don't know whats in the engine. If you have any interest pls pm me w/ offers. Not real sure what its worth, if anything.

$200 obo need the room

went to pull it apart to check and found these casting bumps on front of motor one side has been ground, never paid attention before

Default 302

You have what is called a "KRYLON REBUILD."
Throw some gaskets on it and some Krylon paint and it is rebuilt.

actually it holds 60lbs when hot on 10w40 and runs like hell, it just has leaks and am not interested in rebuilding.

Even if its not a Mexi block,.. its still stronger then any HO block out there. Heads are also probably a little better then E7's,. possibly on par with GT40's.

Would make a nice base for an affordable 347 build.

I'd try to at least get a couple bills for it,.. if not more. Maybe check the heads and cam numbers.

Thanks Jim, thats why I bothered to put it up instead of sticking it in a corner to go to waste. Engine also has a flat tappet patterned after a B. Can hear run for 1 more day.

It might be worth pulling the fuel pump and check the slop in the timing chain.
