That a pretty good price I think.

Usually what happens is when you want to sell it,.. no one really needs one,.. and then after you get frustrated and practically give it away to get rid of it,.. someone comes long who has cash and needs this particular block for their build.

I'm really at odds. I want to do a 351 so I can later do a 408. But this would make a nice 331/347 on spray too.

(Sigh)

Good luck bro.

thanks Jim, if I hadn't already commited to this windsor build I'm doing I'd be rebuilding this one. I am willing to do some parts swapping w/ people, but am running low on what I need.
Through a bunch of research I have found the mexicans in various forms, not all have the hecho in mexico, but some have an m denotation. This one has 7M9 on block, but am still not willing to claim it is or isn't.

There is a visible difference between a mexi block and a standard block. Especially when looking at the mains and webbing. To someone who really knows its very obvious,.. but if you had 2 blocks side by side,.. you could see how much thicker the mexi block is in certain areas.

I do,.. but its not that easy to decide. I've really got my heart set on a 9.5 deck block. 408 > 347.

When I get rid of the 306 short block,.. I'll let it go cheap. Probably the first $100 will take it.

I'll have to list it for $300 of course so I can let then low ballers feel better about getting it for $100,.. LoL

Mexican block should have two useless looking bumps on the front of the block, at least mine does and it is also heavier by a good amount then a roller.

Matt

Greg (Stangitman) has/had one and when looking at the underside of it with a 'regular' 302 block next to it,.. the mexi block is noticeably thicker. I dont know how to tell just buy looking at it,.. but when side by side I saw a difference.
