building a 87 coupe/2.3 want to add a turbo+Nitrous. what do you all think? so far have car, motor, 8.8 rear, 16in ponies what i need............lots more shit!

you need to start with a 2.3 turbo motor a wiring harness from a svo/merkur xr4ti or t bird turbo coupe. the turbo motors are different than the n/a motors.forged pistons inconel exhaust valves beefier blocks lower compression , you get the idea. then port the head intake and exhaust manifold,

 

so how much power can you make with the stock rods and pistons in a turbo motor? also does anyone got one for sale??

 

theres this guy that im trying ta buy one of his motors he's got 3 2.3t svo motors but i havnt got the prices yet the head i think need ta be rebuilt but as far as the harnest if ya get the blueprints or what ever my mother makes shit like that im gonna have her make mine just send us the blueprints of the harnest and she'll give ya a price. as far as the HP. ive been told by alot of people that ya do just a turbo upgrade on the stock turbo svo motor and you should be anywhere between 250 ta 300 horses im trying ta build one myself. plus ebay has alot of 2.3t parts
