mmmm.... I have an SRT-4 and a 2001 Civic DX coupe. Im getting bored with the SRT and i was thinking of dropping that in. I understand K20 is the most popular, but think of this, the SRT4 Bolt on possabilities are widely available. $400 Upgrades the ECU to Stage 1 (increasing power due to fuel mapping changes), there are kit upgrades for the SRT which could upgrade Turbo, ECU, Injectors, WGA, Manifold ect. I think the power possibilities for the SRT 4 is just as good as a K20 (K20 is an expensive engine anyway). The question is how would you keep that Torque/power on the ground...Possibly Traction control. Im contimplating wether to do the swap or not, i already have the SRT-4 complete car and the 01 Civic which weighs 2405lbs according to edmunds.com. The SRT4 weighs 2900lbs. Not to mention the possibility for Carbon Fiber on the civic. I have seen Front bumper, Rear bumper, Front fenders, hood and trunk carbon fiber parts for the civic. Lets just say, if anyone can succesfully do the swap you will win contests if you enter for creativity. Combining USA with Japanese. Just my opinion.

BTW im new to the board from California.

bottom line is if you really want to do it, than do it. Our opinions on your idea shouldn't matter. There's positives and negatives to it. There's so many people giving closed minded 1 sided views on your idea on both the k swap side and srt swap side. Don't listen to those people. Do what YOU want.

let me see if I can find the exact location. My friends go there all the time so I'll ask them and get back to you. PM me if I forget (it will send me an email notification) because I am not on this forum very often

i have a early stratus 2.4 bottom end with 95 neon harness made to fit the 2.4. asking 150, you can buy srt internals from the dealership for $300 and have an entire srt bottom end for $450. all you need is a 2.0 head and the srt turbo will bolt right up id say about 800 totak and you can have a 2.4 turbo running. 150 for another 50 i have a rebuilt tranny with welded differential so it launches like hell but good luck turning.

EvrAce,

My pm box has been having issues at work so that's why you might have got a screwed up pm from me. I asked my friend I'm just waiting on a response. I'll ask again, we're both busy so hopefully I'll get you that location soon.
