take a class and get the license, and insurance! any non off brand bike is good, its all on personal preferance on which bike is better than the other. look out for damage that was covered up, even light drop could have a bent frame (although most are ok) . 18k is a little high on miles but as with anything if it was maintained good ive seen bikes with 40k and still running strong. a 6 will have more than enough power than what your use to with the neons, im 5'5" 160lbs and my 636 will pick up the front tire from time to time when i dont plan on it happening. just remember lately KBB means NOTHING!!! unfortunately economy etc..its not what its worth, its what someone is willing to spend.
yea dont get a hyosung i liked them til i worked on a hyosung scooter....im so glad i bought my ninja 250

I agree you should take the riders course. I actually just picked up an R6 a few days ago for 4500 its mint had 1 owner and only had 3800 miles on it and it was an 05....so you can find one for a good price its just you have to look around
