Little update for you guys...

The fan wont not fit so I've been trying to find a contour dual fan at the local scraps

I ordered a cobra spec T5, which should be here next week. Im just about done with all the wiring (underdash) and starting to wire the engine.

MOST important....Ive been debating removing the turbo and running n/a for a few weeks. Mostly, to make sure all is well with motor/trans. PLus it will help save some coin for the fuel system I need.

Ill keep it going and let you guys know

I figured I would post some update pics for you guys. Not oo much progress but a lot of work.

I test fit the intercooler and front bumper....then cut some air holes in the front bumper. Some say not to but it aint a show car they look weird in the pic but there not. Before final assembly I'm going to paint the bumper itself so its not as noticeable.

Been working on the rear suspension. When it settles it may lower about 1/4" more.

I bought this oil pan with my shortblock and was really excited to find it was tapped for a return. STUPID....did realize it was tapped on the wrong side for my turbo Still trying to decide whether to plug it or get a new pan.

Also installed the flywheel and bell so I can start the motor in a few weeks. I didnt bother cleaning or painting it cause its coming off again when my clutch is built and paid for. Gonna run a custom from Dynamic.

Geez you can tell its a $600 dollar car when you look at that pic and see what I havent cleaned yet.
Last but not least the interior. believe it or not when I got the car all the interior was there (trashed). I've got a lot of time on the interior already mostly wiring and replacing window motors, but heres how it sits. Im almost ready to repaint the dash and install the gauge pods

Well, that was fun. I'd rather salvage a project thread than delete it. OP, if you'd like the messages hard deleted (no "This message deleted" messages) please PM an admin or shoot me a PM and I'll get it done.

St Pete Chad, I'm going to say this once and only once. Knock it off or you're done in Ford Tech.

As for the rest of you, play nice, and in the future use the "Report Post" button or drop me a PM rather than getting into a shit-slinging contest. Disagreements can be handled via PM, or if you must be assholes, at least do it in the Lounge. Shitting up people's project threads will not be tolerated. Plus, its pretty dick.

Now, back on topic. Looks good so far.

It could be me, but the engine looks like it is sitting too far away from the firewall. How much room do you have?

Good spot. In the first pics the solid motor mounts were on backwards. Its since been corrected. I got about half that room know.

Nope. When I tried to fit the fan I had already switched the mounts. I can fit the fan with the stock radiator but I have a three core aluminum and its causing the issue. I've measured the dual contour fan and its going work to work but I have to find one. I measured one at cophers but the car was so smashed I couldnt get it out.
