Ran into some problems today with the steering shaft clearing the exhaust. Going to put and extra universal joint with a carrier bearing in tommorrow. Mating the trans and engine for final installment tommorrow too. Needto get this thing running I wanna drive it. Lol will keep all up to date on progress

 

i looked up the curb weight and it is 2684 lbs. still a light ass car.thats with a/c and full interior. so is it gutted out or any thing?

 

Car is full int. Well looks it. Even have two 12's in the hatch. But have shaved every ounce I could. Deadining. Have done a full car rewire to iliminate any useless wires. Heat shealds. Brakets. All the bs that's not needed. As far as progress goes I got a lil more wiring dong and battery relocation done. Project is goin on back burner for few days cuz my son is in the hospital. Will start as soon as he gets out.

 

Started back on car today. Got new trans in. Throttle hooked up, fuel lines done, twin walbro pumps installed(had them layin around) and wired,exhaust is almost done. Was going to do flowmasters with turn downs but there's no room so it's twins to single 3 inch into a tanabe medalan muffler

 

Ok so update. Made a shifter. Installed starter. Did a lot more wirering. Got the ecu powered up and motor started for the first time. Runs good got a vacume leak. Need to finish exhaust,make drive shaft, install radiator and coolant. And finish the wirering and it'll be time for a test drive

car is done......looking for a meet to go too. built it and havent even went out yet,just back and forth to work.going to the next track day at sunshine.i think its the 23? not sure.also i am still looking for an e303 and a mass air sensor w/pigtail if anybody has ether lmk

 

yeah its the 23. ill be there at least watching. ill come check it out. im a tall goofy white kid cant miss me lol.

missed the last track event due to my cam fouling plugs out....gay. it's too big for the stock tune and its loading up with fuel.putting an safc and wide band in so i can have it tuned by the next event. running a .585 lift and a 307in and 319ex duration. hoping to be tuned on a 100 shot by the next event.if no nitrous im hoping to be on 7lbs of boost from a single 70trim...car is not fs as of now....unless its the right offer : ) im wanting to get the body strait and paint done before i sell it but i keep finding good deals on go fast parts so idk when it will be done. car looks like a rat p.o.s but screams
