My 67 mustang cp
Ok, Here we go...I've had this car for about 15 years now. It has had a few different motors in it's time. A few 302's and a 351w. Well, I never got the 351w to run quite the way I wanted it to. I wanted it to be fast, but still able to be driven on the street daily. I got it to go 10.66 @127 in the 1/4, so I had the "fast" part...At least as fast as I wanted to go. However, it could not be driven on a regular basis. Fuel cost too much as I had to run 110 octane minimum, and you can imagine the amount of fuel I want through. Since I couldn't drive it on a regular basis, I was no longer having fun with the car anymore, so I took the 351w out and traded it for another 302. My goal with this 302 is not to be fast. No, not at all. I am, afterall, giving it to my daughter in another year as her graduation gift. So a de-tuned 302 was in order. I got a set of E7TE heads, and a B303 cam, an Edelbrock Torker-II intake, and a Holley 750 vac secondary carb. Naturally, I'm running headers and Flowmasters.
ANYWAY, since pulling the 351w out and now, it's been about a year. I put it all together, and fired it up. It sounds pretty good for now...I need to do some fine tuning, but I think it'll still pull off a 12 second 1/4. I may have to reduce the gearing to slow it down a bit as well. If I do, I'll put in 3:55's. It has 4:11's now, with a C-6 trans.

Meah...When she's 18, she can handle the boys on her own. at that point, it'll be 14 years of martial arts training for her.
Her last two boyfriends have both had the privlige of sparring with her. She kicked them both in the head. The first one got butt hurt and broke up with her over it. The second....Well...Let me just say they aren't together anymore either. Not because she can kick his ass, but because of other issues. He's lucky to still be breathing.

This evening. It aint pretty yet though...Needs a bit of body work....Mainly a lot of sanding. It's pretty straight for the age. I need to replace the passenger side fender. I did it once already, but it was used and had bondo in it that I didn't notice when I bought it. Now it's flaking.
So I need to replace the pass fender again. My daughter wants to have it painted a greenish/gold color.
It's the original color though. I told her it wouldn't look right with the black interior and a roll cage. She said "It'll be my car dad, so I don't care what you say."

Ok, here is a video of the first start up since the engine replacement. Mainly I did this start up to make sure it would run.
Once I figure out how to resize my pics, I'll post some of those. I still need to replace a brake hose, replace the reverse rotation water pump with a standard rotation water pump. and put on a new belt. Once thats done, I can replace the passenger fender and then on to a repaint. Although it will remain Mad Maxx flat black for about another year and a half or so.
