My 67 mustang cp
Thanks. Like I said, I've had it for a while now...I've been playing with this car for about 15 years or so. It was my daily driver for the longest time. I actually had a trailer hitch for it when I bought the car, and put everything I owned into a U-haul trailer and moved from Seattle to Ohio once. Then I trailered it back to Seattle when things didn't work out. Then there were the many nights of racing that I went and "watched" others race.
LOL I watched for years as one person after another would have the fastest car, then they would disapear. I told everyone if I ever got to be one of the fastest, I wouldn't disapear....That was in Seattle...I now live in Florida.
And there were three other cars that came out to the races that could beat me regularly. I did alright with a little small block 302 though. I was beating 454's, 440's, and 396's on a regular basis. The three cars that beat me regulalry were a 440 Cuda, a Chevelle with a 454, and a Chevy Luv with a 350 in it. All others were just along for the ride. Never been beaten by rice yet...Of course, I know it can (and likely will) happen.

Well....After waiting for yet another payday to pass, I have finally gotten the dizzy gear I needed so I can run this car on the street. I also figured out the wiring for the alternator. Tomorrow I'm going to get a new radiator hose and brake adjusters for the front brakes. The rears may need to be checked also. I bled the brakes tonight, and the brakes still didn't get an7 better. (I have to pump the hell out of them before I start to see any stopping power.) LOL Anyway, I adjusted the passenger side front brake, and the brakes got a LITTLE better, but still not quite right, and the drivers side was not able to be adjusted due to being too rusted. (it's been about 2 years since I really drove this car. LOL
So, this weekend, I'll be doing the following:
1) top radiator hose
2) replace both drivers side and passenger side front brake hoses
3) replace brake self adjuster on drivers side front.
4) adjust rear brakes
5) drive!
On Monday, I'm taking the rear window to the tinters place to have it tinted so I can put it back in.

Damn....Looks like I have to wait a little longer.
I replaced both of the front brake shoes, self adjusters, and hoses. Only to find that the front brakes are not working because of the master cylinder.
So I have to wait a little longer to drive it on the street safely. I did, however, get the top radiator hose, and now the car RUNS great and sounds good. No leaks, so it should be all set as soon as the brakes are ready. I hate rebuilding brakes.

Ok, brakes fixed. Had a leak at a distribution block. Leak fixed, car brakes straight now. Having cooling issues....Hmmmm.....Anyone have a nice radiator? LOL I actually drove it about 5 miles today.
