My 85 Coupe Project.....
I may be interested, just depends on what I decide too do.....
It's definately lifting the head surface..... I got the head gasket off the pass side and #4 stretched the gasket almost into the water port, looks almost like a nitrous backfire..... Still no signs of detonation in the chamber or on top of the piston atleast on this side, it must be getting water in the cyl and causing more of a knock rather then detonation????? I also threw the head studs away, the have already been torqued down 5 times and I just don't trust them anymore.....
I'll pull the other side tomorrow and see what it looks like but in the meantime here's a couple pic's of this gasket.....

The thin decks on the oem iron heads suck. Seems once they lift, they will never seal. Decking them only makes it worse.

I think they would probably be ok for someones mild application, but definately not for any boost or nos.....
As far as Cometics or any other MLS will not help at this point..... The Cometics I just had on right after the surfaces were cut were slowly leaking and getting worse.....
