One good thing is my mother got out of the hospital last night..... She's a little weaker then normal but doing ok right now.....

I got some work done on the motor today..... First thing I did was to get the last 3 cam bearings in , then finished cleaning up the crankshaft..... I also stuck the cam in just to make sure it fit..... I washed everything one last time and got the rotating assembly all in and torqued..... Hopefully tomorrow I can get the cam degreed in and the rest of the shortblock put together.....

Pic's of today's progress.....

I balances the temp from front to rear on the block, keeps all cylinders more even..... The other plus is the running temp usually drops atleast 15 deg, I have seen as much as a 40 deg drop.....

Most of the time I just tee them together in the back and then either go directly to the front with one hose or go through the heater core first if the car has one..... I just used the 2 -6 hoses on this one because both ports on the water pump were available.....
