thnx, 91boostedef6:: Yea I'm only using High quality stuff. I want to rebuild the z6 tranny I have but I'm am undecided on which brand gears and parts to get. Any thoughts?
Oh and P.S. for anyone that still thinks Single Cams are slow I'll see you at the track in like 2 months (school and work will slow me down)

there is no point in dumping money into a small engine. if you want speed then look at what the fastest Hondas in the world are running. B18c's.

I dont wanna be the fastest in the world, I just wanna be able to replace melted or broken parts cheep (d-searies=a dime a dozen)
and nothing makes you flex harder when you can say your running the stock D engine and whooped up someone with some wild Mod.
I also have had diff combos before ( mini-me on a 91 si, b18c5Block/b16 top on a 4g4d) I just like Dsingle cams for cost and flexin. Look at BisiMoto, a little ingenuity goes a long way.
Regardless: I ran a compression test the other day as I left the shop and started whipping down the motor. I'm still looking for a cooler cover, I kinda want the one that says Vtech in big letters and the H logo (i hope it fits). I'll do some research in class today.

lol iv gotta say something...... just after reading the first like 5 post about hateing on single cams....
my sohc zc made 210 and i raped gsr's and b16's..... and for all those that think you cant make sohc's fast check out bisimotos wagovan......

there is nothing wrong with a sohc. i have 2 crx's one that is built ls turbo and the other is built y8.. the y8 keeps up with no problem and it only makes 300 the ls makes 330.
now before everyone starts bashing... sohc's ARE harder to make power out of and do cost a bit more to build.

well the project is on over drive now, I am leaving for NYC for a couple months and I wanna try and get this engine in so I can drive her up to my house there and work on it there. still missing 2 motor mounts and a alternator... from which I will be grabbing off my other delsol if I can pick them up for cheep. there should be a lot of post on here over the next 2 weeks.
