Default Thehondaconnection's cheap EG build

Started a a week ago on my cheesy build and wanted to show some updates.
It's gonna take me a while to finish but i wanted to show what's good so everyone knows what i am capable of performing. It's gonna be slow compared to causeway stuff and not to flashy but it's gonna be road race legal and a decent performer on the road course and the twisty's

Car went from this 94 vx bought in California from a friend for $3700,stock except the sir interior and gathers goodies, skunk 2 sleeve's,spoon shift knob and real 16x7 sw388's 45 offset

Anyhow i swapped a jdm d15b vtec into it.Sold my JDM interior goodies and the wheels and bought the swap with the s20 trans,7.25lb ACT flywheel,6 puck ACT clutch and AEM intake and megan header.Sold a motor on honda-tech and my payment was some gsr seats, function 7 lca's,kyb's,Momo steering wheel, seibon carbon hood, some knockoff spoon mirrors, duckbill, and a es tuning muffler.I replaced the wheels with some ROTA group n'slol' cheap wheels to trash on the streets.
this is how it sat.

Then i started building some itb's and started to do a semi wire tuck.

Got the manifold handled!

Got the t-bodies

Fit's good

Ledges i had to port out on the manifold on every runner

All done

All mounted up and tuned by myself.

Then i did my semi tuck on the bay.
tucked the engine harness plugs and did up the headlight harness.Even did the siren for my alarm's wires.lol

The updates come tomorrow.Stay tuned

The updates.
took the head off and sold my itb setup.
getting the bay cleaned up and getting rid of some stuff on the firewall like the fuel filter, clutch hard line, battery and fuse box and finishing my wire tuck completely.

Here are some things that are going bye-bye.Going with the s2k clutch master and all that wiring is going to be tucked.

fuse box and wiring that's going bye-bye inside the cabin.

Removed the dash to remove the floor pad, useless wiring, srs ecu and wiring and bags along with the a/c and heater goods permanently.

All gone!

Also started port matching my intake and my cylinder head, you can see the glossy black edge above the gasket that needs to be addressed.

More updates later tonight after i take some more pics.

Finished the intake manifold night before last.

De-pinned the headlight harness and made my own schematic for it,pulled it into the cabin so i can land my new wire run.I am also going to re-run the windshield wiper motor wiring so its unseen.Still figuring out the brake fluid level warning wires and how i am gonna run those.

Got the fuel filter removed and the clutch hard line out of there
I am gonna run a inline earls or something and a braided feed after i cut and flare the end for AN fittings.Evap line is going to get cut out and re routed. The clutch is going to get a braided line as well straight from the master to the slave.

Started on the head today.
The old, look at the black ledge again.

One port done minus some finishing cleanup

How she sits as we speak.

You can even see how i sharpened up the splitter on the number one cyl. intake port.
I am going to finish the head tonight and I will post pics up as soon as its done.

Finished the head and intake manifold completely tonight.Once i get it back from the machine shop from being cleaned and having a valve job done, new seals and a .060 in. mill it will go back on the car with a cometic and some arp's

You can see i sharpened the splitters and took some off the floor and pretty much just opened it up to match the hondata gasket.I left it about as rough as a cast manifold for better atomization along with that tiny ledge near the injector pocket to help keep some turbulence.

Good Job tucking the headlight harness, my brother just did that on his bay a few days ago. I want him to tuck that fuse box on the passenger side like you plan to, that really cleans it up. Weve still got the ABS stuff though, soo many ABS hardlines in the bay.
